42ft. DE RUITER DUTCH MOTOR YACHT – GOUDVIS

GOUDVIS was designed and built by De Ruiter Shipyard, Netherlands in 1969. The current owners bought GOUDVIS in 2001, shipping her to the UK in January 2002. GOUDVIS was initially based on the Sharpness Canal in Gloucestershire from where she cruised inland and coastal waters. In 2004 the hull was professionally sand and soda blasted to bare metal at Sharpness Marine before application of five coats of epoxy and subsequent primer and finishing coats. In 2015 the superstructure was taken back to bare metal and epoxy finished a new steel hatch and frame fitted by Sirius Marine in 2015.  Last full survey in October 2017. Boat safety certificate to June 2026. Steel hull thickness from new 5mm. Minimum 4.3 in last survey.

GOUVIS is now reluctantly for sale due to the owner’s ongoing health problems. Due to lack of use the vessel does require some cosmetic upgrading.
