‘Zebedee’ , purchased by the present owner in 2002 has been the subject of an on-going program of restoration and improvement work which included stem repairs, some new timbers, under water seams raked out and re-caulked, bare wood re-paint and varnish, interior re-furbished with International paints and Ephifanes varnish, bilges finished with Danboline paint and engine over-haul.

Carvel mahogany hull, screw and copper fastened to steam bent oak timbers.  Varnished coachroof coamings / sheerplanks.  Graduated bronze opening portlights.  Full width pine planked decks, professionally epoxy sheathed.  Spoon bow, raked transom stern, round bilges and 1 ton 4cwt. iron ballast keel.

5 hp Brit Imp single cylinder four stroke petrol engine, factory re-conditioned in 1982, rebuilt in 1997 and refurbished in 2006 with new piston and ring, new head gasket, new magneto, as new carburettor and new seacock.  6 gallon fuel tank.  Cockpit locker seating, stern lazarette, tiller steering.

Substantial four wheeled yard / winter storage trolley.

Deck stepped hollow spruce mast with new standing rigging and bottle screws.  New fore sails and excellent main with new boom cover.  Fractional bermudian cutter rig sets 267 sq. ft. plain sail.  Cockpit cover / boom tent.
