HISTORY & DESCRIPTION:
The KF31 Bermudian Sloop is a traditional cruising yacht from the board of Swedish designer Lars Johnsson and constructed in 2009 by Karlskrona Folk Yachts AB to a high standard using modern boat-building techniques and quality materials throughout. The result is a beautiful, tradtional seaworthy yacht offering good sailing performance and generous accommodation for four persons.
Mahogany hull, epoxy strip planked on mahogany frames with teak laid deck with marine plywood coachroof.
Raked spoon bow, varnished transom stern, round bilges, long ballast keel.
Deck stepped alloy mast 48ft (14.5m) above waterline. Hamel sails, stainless steel Selden standing rigging.
20hp Lombardini LDW 702 M two cylinder Diesel Engine.
50 hours recorded since new in 2008. Last serviced 1st July 2012. 63 litre fuel tank capacity. Shaft driven with Variofol folding propeller.
240 volt shore-power. Two 105Ah domestic batteries and one 70 Ah engine starting battery.
65 litre fresh-water capacity. Two 12 litre holding tanks.
Accommodation for four in two cabins.
Saloon with two full length (2m) settee berths to port and starboard. Table, navigation area with storage and electric panel.
Galley with two-burner alcohol stove with oven. 401 fridge (12 volt) sink unit with fresh-water tap, pressurised pump 12 volt, work surface, drawers, pantry and crockery lockers.
Heads Compartment with Vacuflush WC with interchangeable vacuum tanks for discharge ashore.
Forward Cabin having double berth (2m) fore-hatch, hanging locker, shelved locker and under bunk storage.
Cockpit with locker seats, tiller steering.
