A very special yacht indeed and built to the highest specification and standards for the manager of Camper & Nicholson.  Individually designed by C & N’s in-house marine architect Raymond Wall as a long distance cruiser with ocean going potential.  Registered in Douglas, Isle of Man. Only four owners in nearly forty years with the present owners currently living aboard on the beautiful West Coast of Scotland.  In 1998 the vessel received a major refit with new gear and equipment installed.

‘Reeve’ is of close-seamed carvel construction, Iroko planked and copper fastened to steam bent oak timbers. Swept teak laid deck. Teak superstructure and brightwork. Long external ballast keel, raked stem and varnished raked transom stern.

Six berths in a light and spacious layout with varnished teak joinery and grey-white egg shell paintwork.

Aft Stateroom with double berth to port, wardrobe, fitted lockers and drawers. Aft companionway. Main Saloon with settee berths to port and starboard providing one double and two single berths.  Drop-leaf cabin table, Reflex oil fired cabin heater.  Fo’c’sle currently used as a workshop / store but scope for two berths if required, fitted lockers and drawers. Well equipped galley with Taylors cooker with oven and two burners, microwave, sink unit, 12 /240 volt fridge, three pantry and crockery lockers.  Heads compartment with Blake Victory marine wc, shower and vanitory unit with washbasin.  Navigation station with chart table and drawers beneath. Icom VHF and M601 VHF, Raymarine GPS, Raymarine Chart Plotter, Raython Radar, Raymarine 7000 Autopilot, Sunto D-135 Compass, B&G Sounder, B&G Distance/Speed Log. Centre cockpit with upholstered seating for up to six crew.

Replacement 65hp Perkins four cylinder 4236 diesel engine. Approx 2560 hours, last serviced June 2009. Shaft driven three blade prop. about 7/8 knots. Two fuel tanks with 450 litres total capacity. Four batteries 240 volt shore-power. Two 360 litre fresh water tanks, 720 litres capacity in total.

Masthead ketch rig with keel stepped alloy main mast and mizzen and alloy spars. 19mm stainless-steel standing rigging. Six Horizon sails, slab reefing and roller furling headsails. Wheel steering.
