HISTORY & DESCRIPTION:
9ft overall length x 4ft 6″ beam x 9″ draught, plus dagger board 3ft.
TWINKLE was built by Wilf Souter & Sons, Cowes in the early 1960s as a tender to the motor-yacht MOONSPLASH.
Cold moulded construction with diagonally laid mahogany veneers, varnished as original.
Bermudian rig with mainsail and rowing thwarts.
All varnish removed to bare wood, and 5 coats applied.
New brass keel band fitted.
Sail professionally laundered.
Lifting eyes for davits at the bow and stern.
Complete with oars, rudder and dagger board.
Rapide galvanised road trailer with good tyres, new jockey wheel and a replaced wheel bearing.

An attractive and practical classic dinghy in first class condition. Ideal as a tender to a traditional sailing or motor yacht or a stand alone sailing/rowing dinghy for family days on the water or teaching the children to sail.
