Built by McGruer and Co. 1968. Length on deck 8 ft. Beam 4 ft.
Varnished Clinker Yacht Tender, built of spruce on oak, copper fastened, with Mahogany sheer strake, thwarts and transom. Varnished sole boards with two sets of foot stretchers. Brass Bung and McGruer nameplate inside transom.
A robust rope fender is fitted to the top plank to provide protection when coming alongside.
I pair of varnished leathered oars and galvanised rowlocks.
1 Navy cover that fits over dinghy offering protection.
1 small launching trolley.
The dinghy was designed by James MCGruer of McGruer and Co, Yacht builders at Clynder on the Clyde, and built by the yard apprentices in 1968. She was built as a yacht tender to the the 47ft 6in McGruer yawl RINMARA for Mr Peter Odlum, a flour Miller from Dublin.
The current owner purchased her from the Late Advocate Roger Perrot to create space in his garage for a new vehicle, and has been used for light rowing in the sheltered harbour of St Peter Port, in Guernsey.
The dinghy has been varnished internally and externally with International varnish, is in good condition and being used currently.
