CAPPELLE was built for P B Frost of Great Waltham, Essex in 1959 by Cardnell Brother Boat builder of Maylandsea to a design by J Francis Jones. Frost was a member of the Royal Burnham Yacht Club, Maldon Little Ship Club and Royal Ocean Racing Club, he stationed CAPPELLE on the Blackwater, where she is still located today.

Carvel teak hull, copper fastened to steam bent timbers and frames. Painted marine ply decks and Teak cabin coamings and hatches. Beta 35hp diesel fitted new in 2007 with low hours, bladder type fuel tank 2007. Wheel steering from a deep and safe cockpit with lots of storage lockers, self draining sole. Large sliding hatch with double opening Teak doors. CAPPELLE is a beamy boat with a large cosy interior having lots of storage, ideal for extended cruising or living aboard. A relatively tall rig with a long boom makes for good sailing performance. The sails are in good condition with a spare set. Avon life raft and Avon 2.7 metre hard bottom tender with mariner 3.3hp two-stroke outboard motor. Eno stainless steel cooker, new marine toilet and plumbing. Hull topsides and deck painted 2021.
