HISTORY & DESCRIPTION:
ADIENNE was built in 1967 for F J Wallis of Marlborough by Hartwells of Plymouth to the Golden Hind Class, designed by Maurice Griffiths. Bilge keels, sloop rig and with a Volvo MD2030 30hp being one of the original 120 boats professionally built in marine-plywood. During the 1960s and 1970s ADIENNE was stationed in Poole and later in Guernsey. In the same original ownership she was moored in Alderney in the 1980s. Her current owner has lifted the boat annually for inspection and antifoul in his 7 years of ownership and the boat had a new engine, mast and rigging in 2005. As well as being a versatile cruiser, ‘Adienne’ is a comfortable stay-aboard and features a traditional log/multi fuel burner as well as a Taylor’s diesel heater. Priced for quick sale as owner has already found himself a larger boat. Available to view at Birdham Pool Marina by appointment.
