IVY 18ft Gaff Rigged Day Sailer

Designed by George Feltham of Portsmouth and built in 1930.

This gentleman’s day sailer is in first class condition of carvel pine/mahogany on steamed oak frames.

IVY has won many local trophies with a surprising turn of speed.

The vessel is seaworthy and easily handled.

She has been continuously maintained in an excellent condition.

The spars are varnished spruce and the sails cream terylene.

Fitted with a NASA duet combined depth and speed log as well as an electric bilge pump.

Varnished oars and a 5hp Seagull Century outboard motor.

The sails consist of a gaff mainsail, stay-sail, and jib together with a balloon running spinnaker.

There is a full cockpit cover together with a hooped sprayhood and camping tent, also an anchor and cable, various warps, and other spares.

The vessel is currently ashore at Iron Wharf Boatyard Faversham, has been anti-fouled ready to be launched and ready to be sailed.
