HISTORY & DESCRIPTION:

Lurley was first commissioned in 1974 to a traditional 1960’s Dutch Lowland Cruiser design by Steijn Brothers, similar in style to the 34ft Royal Cruiser 1V.

Constructed of Dutch steel with steel hull and decks with varnished mahogany superstructure. The hull was professionally re-finished in 2008. Repairs to exterior cabin corners and new seal between the deck and superstructure carried out in 2014.

The current owner bought Lurley in 2004, she was lying near Toulouse on the Canal du Midi in southern France. Over the past ten years, Lurley has cruised up and down the Canal du Midi, up the Rhone River to St. Jean de Losne, through the Canal du Centre, through the Canal du Bourgogne (twice), up the Yonne River to Auxerre, down the Yonne River to the Sein and followed the Seine to the Marne. Cruised on the Marne to Epernay, traversed the canals to the Meuse and descended the Meuse into Holland.

During those years, Lurley has been a second home for several months each year, providing stylish and comfortable accommodation for family and friends with a separate aft cabin ideal for occasional guests or owners cabin.
