DETAILS OF SAILING CUTTER ‘LORI’ – 4th August 2015
A traditional long keel cutter built as a yacht before the Great War in Kiel and since sailed out of Swedish waters. Professionally restored and offered in excellent condition.
Oak, 22mm carvel planked hull with part steel frames, solid teak laid deck, mahogany dog-house, rails, skylight and cockpit. Long iron ballast keel.
Spacious period style interior with mahogany joinery, saloon table, shelves and cupboards.
Six berths in two cabins with double berth fore cabin, two saloon settee berths and two aft quarter berths.
Galley with gimballed two burner propane stove with oven, two stainless steel sinks, manual fresh and sea water pumps. Pantry and crockery lockers. Refridgerator, steel and plastic freshwater tanks. Gas alarm.
Heads Compartment with Jabsco electric toilet, stainless steel holding tank with electric level indicator. Deck cap and sea evacuation. Wash basin.
Keel stepped spruce mast, stainless steel standing rigging. Spruce boom. Harken aftstay tensioner, Selden headstay furler. inner forestay with peterboom.
Main Sail 40m2, Pentex with three slab reefs.
Head Sail 50m2, Pentex on furler.
