HISTORY & DESCRIPTION:
The Swedish yacht designer Peter Norlin (1941-2012) produced many legendary, cruising and racing yacht designs including the ‘three-quarter ton’ class rating Amoress in 1975.
Amoress , built by Lennart Minnegard & Arne Johnsson at Spillersboda Vara, Stockholm for Bo Andersson has a outstanding racing pedigree, participating in countless regattas and was, at the time the boat to beat, particularly upwind in heavy weather.
Maintained in exceptional original condition Amoress is of cold moulded mahogany construction, bright finished inside and out, clearly showing her fine construction.
Keel stepped alloy mast. Bermudian sloop rig with fully battened mainsail, plus rope foil main, genoa plus new Technora genoa, new Technora windseeker, several spinnakers, and blooper. Older set of useful head sails. Two spinnaker poles. Harken carbo foil, six Lewmar winches. Masthead rod rigging.
30hp YANMAR DIESEL ENGINE, three blade folding propeller. New Excide starting battery and new Sonnenschein domestic systems battery, new CTEK M100 charger.
