Classic Yacht Brokerage comments on this Gecco 39
The GECCO 39 was designed by Magnus Öster/Bo Jonsson and manufactured by ex-Nautor craftsmen at the Swedish company GECCO Yachts. It is a cruising yacht that offers a combination of comfort, performance, and ease of handling. It is a stable and stiff yacht with good righting capabilities.
Based on, and often mistaken for, the classic S&S Swan 38, the GECCO 39 is a well-designed and well-built sailing boat that offers a combination of comfort, performance, and ease of handling. It is suitable for both experienced sailors and those new to sailing, making it a popular choice for cruising and leisurely adventures on the water.
Under her current ownership, Lutea has participated in several Classic Regattas and cruised from the Rias of Galicia and Northern Spain, Northern and Southern Brittany and the French coast, to West Cork and Ireland’s Wild Atlantic coast.
