Classic Yacht Brokerage comments on this Pegasus 35 Motor Yacht
Designed by Cox & Haswell and built by Pegasus Marine, Lymington. The date of build is thought to be 1979.
Pegasus Marine made a name for themselves with the first Pegasus 35 built in 1969 which took part in the first ever Round Britain Powerboat Race and finished 18th overall, also winning best All-Rounder and ConcoursD’Elegance prizes, cementing the Pegasus name as a brand who produced good quality boats with excellent performance.
This is the sports cruiser version of the Pegasus 35, one of 11 boats built to the design. Bought by the previous owner in a very poor state, in danger of being cut up, a 3 year rebuild commenced, finished in 2019 which included a complete professional hull rebuild, new engines, systems and interior.
New external paint work (back to bare wood 2024), full machinery service and a new laid teak cockpit sole have all been done recently so that she is now a fully ready to go vessel with very low hours on the engines and fully equipped for cruising.
