Classic Yacht Brokerage has been a long established business offering brokerage services for classic and traditional yachts in the UK.
In 2024 the business was purchased by Wooden Ships Yacht Brokers who are a cornerstone of the traditional yachting industry in the UK. Now run by Richard Gregson of Wooden Ships, the two businesses run side by side and together they encompass a large sector of classic yacht sales in the UK and beyond.
Under this new ownership, Classic Yacht Brokerage has developed with a new web site and a new direction. Classic Yacht Brokerage aims to offer a specialist brokerage service for modern classic yachts including blue water cruising boats, early GRP yachts and spirit of tradition designs.
Our specialist knowledge of the industry and many years of experience in brokerage allow us to offer a very personal and diligent service to both vendors and purchasers. With many contacts in the yachting industry both in the UK and abroad, we can advise owners on all aspects of boat ownership and ensure the process of selling or buying is as smooth and trouble free as possible.
Our office is primarily based in the beautiful port of Dartmouth, UK, but we travel far and wide and list yachts over a large geographic area. We frequently work closely with local brokers in different parts of the country to give a wider reach to the marketing and lend a knowledgeable ear to the marketing process which can help both sides of the transaction.
